I noticed that the back of my Blackberry was getting scratched from setting it on the table and from taking it out of the case that it came with. line up). This skin solved that problem. It fits my Curve perfectly (all the holes for the USB, speakers, camera, etc. The rubber material is also a little "sticky" which keeps the phone from sliding around in the car. I've noticed that the skin helps keep some of the dust from getting in through the cracks around the battery cover too.
Also, the skin does not have a hole punched out so you can access the mute button on the top of the phone -- what's the deal with that. Since Blackberry actually makes this item, I thought it would be perfect for my new Blackberry Curve -- wrong. The skin's color is called "Dark Red", so you'd think it would match the color of my Dark Red Blackberry, but it's not even close. Last, but not least, the case is super slippery, so it's not going to prevent your Blackberry from accidentally slipping out of your hands. Waste of money.

I agree with everyone else on the quality of this product.I first purchased the same thing from Verizon and it cost $12.99, so I am giving this 5 stars because of the value and the quality. These are cheap enough to get several colors, just for the fun of it.
The skin will give you a better grip, add a bit of needed bulk, and protect your phone. There's not much I can add to the headline, except that it could be improved with some kind of screen protection. but I guess that's what those stick-on sheets are for. If you have a Blackberry, you can't afford NOT to protect it, and this one is probably the last one you'll ever need. Save yourself some heartache and just buy it.
